Markie Post
Markie Post grew up in Walnut Creek,
California and began her career in films and TV shows, like Card Sharks (1978)
and "The New Card Sharks" (1986) and later on produce such projects
as Double Dare (1976) and she has appeared on TV shows like 1st to Die (2003),
E! True Hollywood Story (1996), Electra Woman (2001) and Dyna Girl (2001). Her
most memorable TV part was "Christine Sullivan" in Night Court
(1984). She was featured in an entire 156 episodes of this show from 1984 to
1992. Marylee (Armstrong) Post is her daughter. She was a poet and a well-known
nuclear physicist Richard Freeman Post (November 14 1918 until April 7 in
2015). Two daughters, Katie Ross (born June 26 in 1987), and Daisy Ross (born
on March 30, 1990) was her second wedding to Michael A. Ross. She was born in
Palo alto, California and grew up close to Walnut Creek, California. The school
she attended was Las Lomas High School in Walnut Creek, California; she was an
athlete. Lewis & Clark College in Portland Oregon awarded her a Bachelor
of Arts degree. She was part of the trick roping team in The Wildest West Show
of the Stars (1986). Her ashes were later returned home to Michael A. Ross, her
husband. She was a lifelong Democrat. Markie Post, who was three months from
her 71st birthday date on the 4th of November, 2021, died on the 7th of August.
She was 27 days away from Charles Robinson, Night Court (1984) and her co-star
who passed away on July 11 in 2020. While the two shows were completely
unrelated, Night Court (1984) was cancelled in 1992 when her character,
Christine Sullivan, leaving for Washington DC, and Hearts Afire (1992) was
released later that year with Post playing a new character Georgie Lahti. She
happened to be working in Washington DC (and later moving to a smaller town).
