Sadie Sink Bio

Sadie Sink is an American actor, best known for her role in Netflix's Stranger Things (2016) as Max, American Odyssey (2015) as Suzanne Ballard, and in Fear Street: Part Two - 1978 (2021).Sadie was born in Austin, Texas, the state capital, in east-central Texas. Her father is an US football coach. Her obsession with the Disney film High School Musical (2006), which she recreated together with her brother Mitchel when she was seven years old, led her mother to send her to acting classes at an Houston community theatre. It led to her Broadway audition and she ended up being the main character in Annie's 2012 revival. She also starred in the Emmy-winning show The Americans, while still as the lead. In 2015, she co-starred with Helen Mirren in The Audience production on Broadway, as the young queen Elizabeth II. She has since also appeared in the short film Odyssey (2015) as well as in the films Chuck (2016), The Glass Castle and Eli (2019). She played a young queen Elizabeth II in The Audience, a Broadway production The Audience. The older queen was played by Helen Mirren. Mirren began her acting career in the theatre, and was a part of a Broadway production of Annie at the age of 11.
